About Mike Youngblood

The Youngblood Group is a project led by Mike Youngblood, a cultural anthropologist working at the nexus of social science and human-centered design. Mike has worked with for-profit and not-for-profit clients around the world in a wide range of industries, including financial services, transportation, telecommunications, food and nutrition, education, healthcare, and social services. He believes that meaningful, sustainable solutions are only possible when we engage and empower end-users and community stakeholders as co-creators.

Mike is a frequent speaker in the fields of anthropology and design. He has taught at the School for International Training, The Maryland Institute College of Art, The UC-Berkeley Haas School of Business, and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University.
